About me

Education

I am a postdoctoral associate working with Dr. Gaƫl Forget at MIT. Prior to this, I was a postdoc at the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies, Florida State University. I completed my Ph.D. in Meteorology & Physical Oceanography at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science, University of Miami, advised by Prof. Igor Kamenkovich.

Research Interests

My research explores ocean dynamics from small scales up to the mesoscale, with a focus on vertical mixing and transport by mesoscale eddies. I am also interested in changes on continental shelves, including sea-level variability on the European shelf and ocean warming in the Gulf of Maine. I combine both theory with both idealized and comprehensive numerical models of ocean circulation to tackle these problems. I am always happy to discuss and collaborate with different minds!
