About me
Education
I am a postdoctoral associate working with Dr. Gaƫl Forget at MIT. Prior to this, I was a postdoc at the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies, Florida State University. I completed my Ph.D. in Meteorology & Physical Oceanography at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science, University of Miami.
Research Interests
My research explores ocean dynamics from small scales up to the mesoscale, with a focus on vertical mixing and transport by mesoscale eddies. I am also interested in changes on continental shelves, including sea-level variability on the European shelf and ocean warming in the Gulf of Maine. I combine both theory with both idealized and comprehensive numerical models of ocean circulation to tackle these problems. I am always happy to discuss and collaborate with different minds!
